Description: This is a fine Mid Victorian (1850/1860) Aneroid Barometer/Thermometer.This has just been in the hands of Professional Barometer people. It has been Cleaned, Porcelain Face and Brass Bezel, Re-Calibrated and set to the Sea level where I am. The Purchaser will have it set to the 'Height above Sea level' where they live. It is all to do with Baromatic Pressure. This is an excellent Barometer/Thermometer, It bears the name on the dial of A Thresher. Optician--High Wycombe, who actually would have been the 'Retailer!. PRICE REDUCTION to £345--WAS £395.

In 40 years of dealing in Antiques, I have never charged for Wrapping & Packing items for Shipment---now unfortunately because of rising costs of materials in which to wrap and pack such securely so your item arrives intact--I am having to charge the following costs--ITEMS FOR DELIVERY IN THE UK--£15--ITEMS FOR OVERSEAS DELIVERY £25. These Charges are reasonable considering wrapping and packing an item can take between (according to the item size) anywhere from 20 minutes to over 2 hours! Thanks for your understanding.
