About Us

I started in the 'Antiques Trade' in 1986 in Llanrwst, North Wales. I always had an interest, but only that then the opportunity came to rent a small shop (about the same size of the one I have now) and I bought some Victorian ceramics, brassware and copper and small furniture.

I took to selling items for people on commission, that worked well. I traded until 1998 when family commitments needed me to close down. I moved to Llandrindod Wells in 2001 and decided to open again, purchasing a shop with living accommodation. All was great, attending auctions, selling for people on commission until things generally in Antiques fell down. In 2017 I was diagnosed as having cancer and that meant a large operation, a long stay in hospital, months of recuperation. I have been told I am clear!

So I decided to re-open the shop which had virtually closed. At 80 years of age it was a brave decision. I have found I am dealing not only with the UK, but surprisingly more overseas. Call in, phone or email. I am a friendly gentleman and always ready to talk.

AS LONG AS I AM INSULTED NOT
YOU'LL THEN BE BUYING A VERY NICE LOT"
