Description: A truly magnificent Bronze of Horse and Jockey (signed Bonhuer!) Believed 'After Bonheur' who was France's Premier Animalist, working in his early years Isidor Bonheaur soon turned his attention from drawing to modelling, in his Father's Studio. This is not just any horse but Kinscem--a Hungarian Race Horse who not only won the Goodwood Cup in 1878 but in 54 Races that he ran in he won 54! IF this was a Original Bonheur it should be selling (as they have done) for between £25,000 and £40,000. This is extremely heavy in weight. Isidor Bonheur was born in 1837 and dies in 1901 This is believed to be around 1920 NOW OFFERED FOR SALE AT REDUCED PRICE £495. The Figure measures>Base is 43cm in length x 17cm in width. The Horse from it's Mane to Tail is 39cm in length. The Jocket is from Cap to the Horses Hoof 36cm in height.
