Description: This is a very nice example of a Barn Own, beautifully set amongst decoration in a substantial Glass Case. Pained Black with Gold bordering it measures 16 inches in height--13.75 inches in width and 6.75 inches in depth. Believed to be from James Hutchings of Aberystwyth. Late Victorian. This is not your ordinary run of the mill Barn Owl but an excellent specimen. Quality counts always--Hence the price! This item used to grace a Men's Outfitters in the town of Brecon in Wales from the Mid Victorian Era right through until the 1950's when it closed!
